About Me

I am a freelance full-stack developer and IT consultant based in Berlin. For over 25 years, I have been designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, online stores, and community platforms.

Technically, my focus is on modern web frameworks as well as CMS and e-commerce systems. As a consultant, I help my clients gain digital sovereignty through open-source strategies, operate their own infrastructure, and meet requirements for quality, data protection, and accessibility.

I’m active in the open-source community and have published over 100 of my own projects on GitHub.

Before Software Development

Before I got into software development, I worked in sound and film. From 1994 to 1999, I worked as a sound engineer on set for film productions, including for the dffb, the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, and the TV series “Boomtown Berlin.” From 1992 to 1994, I was an audio producer at the Berlin radio station Kiss FM.
